A young man stood in wet grass,
on rolling green fields.
Mist hung in the air.
He saw a girl walking with her back
to him dressed in a black coat a dozen yards away.

Although he couldn't see her face
he knew she was stunningly beautiful.
And he thought how shiny her pearly white teeth were

and how a glance from her big dark eyes would melt him.
As she walked away he shouted,

then screamed at her.
But even he couldn't hear his own voice; he couldn't hear anything at all.
